Angel Gown Program - Pregnancy & Infant Loss
Every one of our Angel Gown garments is made by our members who are all volunteers. We use the wedding gowns that have been so kindly donated to us and then our talented seamstresses transform them into the gorgeous gowns that are then individually wrapped in tissue and boxed with a poem card and Swarovski pendant.
They are then gifted to those families that have suffered the loss of their baby, be it through miscarriage, stillbirth or those that don't make it home from hospital.
We are at times asked to make an Angel Gown garment from a family's own wedding gown. This is something we are more than happy to help with, but it does take a little longer to organise. The same applies for any specific religious or cultural requests an individual family may have.
As part of the Angel Gown Program, we offer the following range of garments handcrafted from wedding dress material;
- Angel Gown garments in four sizes; Micro Premmie, Small, Medium and Large
- Angel Gown wraps for babies born from 16 to 20 weeks gestation
- Presentation Blankets
- Bonnets
Strict quality control processes are followed to ensure consistency of sizing and quality in our Angel Gown Garments. All garments are inspected prior to packaging.
Each Angel Gown garment is made with so much love to honour the life of a baby taken far too soon. We hope to give each family just one moment of peace and beauty as they dress their baby before they have to say goodbye for the very last time.
